Wednesday
The plot revolves around the visit, each Wednesday of a man to a family
house in the lower east side of Brooklyn. We can actually shoot it in
South London and minimize costs, as it's of a similar setting. It will
be quite similar to the film called Smoke, and the main character should
be of a Harvey Kytel nature; manic depressive. The action comes from the
destructive nature this individual has on the stable (in the beginning)
family unit. Towards the end of the film the family divides; the father
turns depressive and the mother, manic. The child is the only survivor
as it is oblivious to the whole mental attack.
The
follow-up film will be of a similar nature but in a rural location, possibly
New Hampshire, although again to save on costs and attract UK investment,
I propose Cheshire. The follow up will be called Saturday. In this film
the man is changed by the visit and not the family; a nice twist, I thought.
